Loading the application

Welcome to our online creation application. Loading of the application is in progress.

The loading of the application may take between several seconds and several minutes.
Your browser may ask you to accept the operation of Java or an ActiveX component.
The application will request your authorisation to access your local files (your photos!). You must grant this authorisation!
As soon as the application has been loaded, you can personalize it in just a few clicks.
Elisa will assist you during your product creation. Don't hesitate to ask her a question via the 'Search' box above!

Start your creation

With just a few clicks

You can start your creation with just a few clicks as follows:

Select your photos by clicking the 'Photos' bubble
Select a product or a photo book format
Select a suitable theme according to your preference
In the case of a photo book, adjust the number of pages
Your creation is ready! A preview is displayed. Click 'Continue' to add texts, change photos and place your order as soon as everything is ready.

Display your photos to be added

In the start-up wizard, click the choose photos bubble and the selection window will then be displayed.

Find your photos on your PC

In the left-hand file tree, choose the directory containing your photos.

Select all photos

To select all the photos in the directory you are browsing, click the 'Select All' button.

Deselect all photos

To empty your selection, click the 'Deselect All' button.

Select a photo

To select a photo, click it and a green sign will appear in the corner of the photo to indicate that you have chosen it.

Deselect a photo

When a photo has already been selected, you can deselect it simply by re-clicking on it.

Continue the creation process

Once the photos have been chosen, click the 'OK' button in the top right-hand corner to continue the creation process.

Display the other products

In the start-up wizard, click the change book format bubble. A window will then appear showing the various formats available.

Select another product

Select the product of your choosing, by clicking on it.

The product's characteristics

On the right, you will find any options available, such as the cover material or colour.

Continue the creation process

Once you have chosen the product, click the 'OK' button in the top right-hand corner to continue the creation process.

Choose a theme

When you have chosen the format of the product, you can personalize it by applying the theme of your choosing: Wedding, birth, travel, etc.

Select a theme

To choose a theme, simply click the image representing it, and then click the 'OK' button in the top right-hand corner to continue the creation process.

Creation wizard options

Revisit a saved creation

To open a saved creation and resume your creation, click the 'open creation' button, then choose the creation to be completed and click 'OK'. To return to the wizard without opening a creation, click 'cancel'.

Change the number of pages

To change the number of pages, move the slider of the number of pages bar until it shows the number of pages that you want (photo books only).

Cover colour and material, type of paper

If the book format allows, you can choose the cover material and colour, or the quality of the paper by clicking the drop-down menus at the bottom of the screen.

The preview of your creation before personalization

A preview of your creation is displayed, incorporating your choices. You can use the arrows on the left and right to view the various pages of your creation.

Continue personalization

When you have made your choices, click 'Continue'.

Personalize your creation

Photos

Add photos

When creating your product, you can add a photo by dragging and dropping it from the photo tab at the bottom of the screen. By clicking a photo area, the 'add photo' button will appear in the left-hand menu.

Replace a photo

Double-click on the photo. With a simple click, the left-hand menu will appear and you will be able to select 'choose/replace photo'. You can also drag and drop a photo onto the one to be replaced.

Zoom in/out on a photo

By moving the thumbwheel of your mouse, you can zoom in/out of the photo selected. You can also use the buttons available for that purpose in the left-hand menu.

Move a photo

To move a photo, simply drag and drop it in the desired place.

Add a decorative frame

To frame a photo, select it and click the 'choose a decoration' button in the left-hand photo menu. The 'frames' tab will then open at the bottom of the screen, from which you can drag and drop a frame to decorate your photo.

Display the frames for photos

From the 'frames' tab, you can display the images of the various frame themes by clicking the names which are displayed above the miniatures.

Edit a photo

To edit a photo, select it and click the 'edit photo' button in the left-hand menu. A window will appear showing the editing options, which will enable you to adjust the saturation or contrast.

Rotate a photo

To rotate your photo, once it has been selected, click the rotate icon. Keeping the mouse button pressed down, move your mouse to adjust the position of your photo. Alternatively, from the photo menu in the left-hand column, move the cursor along the 'rotate' bar.

Crop a photo

To crop a photo, click the photo and keep the mouse button pressed down, then move the mouse until the photo is positioned as you want. You can resize the frame of the photo with the help of icons by keeping the cursor on them.

Enlarge the photo

To enlarge the photo, select it and keep your mouse button pressed down on the 'enlarge' icon in the bottom right-hand corner. You can obtain the desired size by moving your mouse.

Bring a photo to the front

. To bring a selected photo to the front or move it to the back, click the 'bring to front' or 'move to back' button as applicable If there are other elements on your page, click several times until the photo's position suits you. You can use this function to make your photos overlap in the way you want.

Delete a photo

When creating your product, you can delete a photo by dragging and dropping it outside the creation, or by pressing the delete key on your keyboard. You can also delete it by using the button provided for that purpose in the left-hand column.

Page layout

To change the page layout, click the 'page layout' button in the page menu in the left-hand column. The layouts tab at the bottom of the screen will then by highlighted, but you can also click on it directly. All you have to do then is drag and drop the page layout of your choosing onto the selected page of the photo book.

Display backgrounds

In the backgrounds tab, you can display the images of the various themes by clicking the names displayed above the miniatures.

Display foregrounds

In the foregrounds tab, you can display the images of the various themes by clicking the names displayed above the miniatures.

Reverse the order of two pages

You can reverse the order of pages by dragging and dropping one page onto another page frrm the 'views' tab at the bottom of the window. The pages then change places.

Add pages

To add pages when creating your product, click the drop-down menu in the band at the top of the screen showing the number of pages, then click the new total number of pages that you want. A message will ask you to confirm.

Delete pages

To delete pages when creating your product, click the drop-down menu in the band at the top of the screen showing the number of pages, then click the new total number of pages that you want. A message will ask you to confirm.

Change the background

To change the background, go to the page menu in the left-hand column and click on the background button. The 'backgrounds' tab will then be highlighted (you can also select it directly). Choose a background to be applied to the page by dragging and dropping it.

Change the background colour

To change the background colour, click the colours tab. Choose a colour to be applied to the page by dragging and dropping it. You can personalize the colour by choosing it in the rainbow column and adding shades.

Change the foreground

To change the foreground, go to the page menu in the left-hand column and click the 'foreground' button. The 'foregrounds' tab will then be highlighted (you can also select it directly). Choose a foreground to be applied to the page by dragging and dropping it.

To add an object, go to the page menu in the left-hand column and click the 'add object' button. The 'objects' tab will then be highlighted (you can also select it directly). Choose an object to be applied to the page by dragging and dropping it.

Move an object

To move an object, click the move icon, keeping the left-hand button pressed down, then move your mouse to the desired place.

To enlarge the object, click the enlarge icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the object, keep it pressed down to drag and drop your enlarged object.

To rotate your object, when it has been selected, click the rotate icon. Keeping this click pressed down, move your mouse to adjust the position of your object. Alternatively, from the object menu in the left-hand column, move the cursor along the 'rotate' bar.

Delete an object

When creating your product, you can delete an object by dragging and dropping it outside your creation, but also by pressing the delete key on your keyboard, or by clicking the delete button (recycle bin) in the buttons in the left-hand column.

Texts

Move text

To move a text area, click the move icon keeping the left-hand button pressed down, then move your mouse to the desired place.

Add text

To add text, go to the 'page' and 'text' menus in the left-hand column and click the 'add text' button. The 'text frames' tab will then be highlighted (you can also select it directly). Choose a text bubble to be added to the page using the drag and drop method. If you do not want a frame around the text, choose the icon in the list furthest to the left.

Add a decoration

To frame a text, choose a decoration using the 'text frames' tab at the bottom of the screen and drag and drop it onto your text. From here, you can display the images of the various themes by clicking the names displayed above the miniatures.

Text theme

To have a bold text, go to the text menu in the left-hand column and click the appropriate button. To cancel this action, re-click it.

To have a text in italics, go to the text menu in the left-hand column and click the appropriate button. To revert to normal text mode, re-click on it.

To change the colour of the text go to the 'text' menu in the left-hand column and click the colour of the text. Choose a colour and drag and drop it in the text bubble to be personalized.

To change the text font go to the 'text' menu in the left-hand column, click the drop-down menu showing the font names and choose the one you want.

To change the size of the text font, go to the 'text' menu in the left-hand column, click the drop-down menu showing the font sizes and choose the one you want.

Change the text alignment in a bubble

To change the text alignment go to the 'text' menu in the left-hand column and click on one of the icons representing the alignments available.

Enlarge the text

To enlarge the text, click the 'enlarge' icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the text selected, keep your mouse button pressed down to drag and drop your enlarged text.

Rotate the text

To rotate your text, when it has been selected, click the icon, keep the mouse button pressed down and move the mouse to adjust the position. Alternatively, in the left-hand column, move the cursor along the 'rotate' bar in the 'text' menu'.

Delete text

You can delete text by dragging and dropping it outside your creation, or by clicking the delete button (recycle bin) in the buttons in the left-hand column.

Advanced functions

Description of the interface

Menus on the left

The menu column is on the left The 'theme' menu enables you to change the theme of your creation, the 'page' menu enables you to change the page layout, the 'photo' menu enables you to add, crop and edit photos, the 'text' menu enables you to add text areas and to personalize them and the 'object' menu enables you to add decorations to your creation.

Top menu buttons

At the top of the creation screen, you will find the band showing the tools which enable you to create a new product, save and upload a creation. Editing actions, such as 'copy', 'cut', 'paste', 'undo' and 'redo' will help you. It also contains the 'full screen', 'grid' and 'preview' buttons. The latter will provide you with a precise view of your creation.

Change format

In the band you will also find a reminder of the format name chosen and you can change the product by clicking on it.

Number of pages

The band also contains an indicator showing the number of pages. By clicking on it, you can increase or decrease the number of pages.

Paper quality

If the format allows, you can choose different paper qualities in the drop-down menu in the number of pages menu.

Auto save

The auto save is a default function. You can deactivate it by unticking the relevant box in the top right-hand corner, under the 'order' button.

Tab menu at the bottom of the screen

The tabs at the bottom of the screen enable you to quickly access the resources available for your creation. You can use these tabs to drag and drop photos, fames and objects to enhance your creation. The 'views' tab provides you with an overview of your pages, enables you to change their order using the drag and drop method and allows you to browse your book.

Keyboard shortcuts

You can use the following keyboard shortcuts: ctrl+X corresponds to 'cut', ctrl+C to 'copy', ctrl+V to 'paste', ctrl+Z to 'undo' and ctrl+Y to 'redo'. The 'delete' key or the 'backspace' key enable you to delete a photo or an object.

Order

Once you have completed your creation, click the 'order' button. You will be asked to check a preview of your creation before the start of the transfer.

Description of the functionalities

Save your creation

To save your creation, click the 'save' button (disc icon) in the top left-hand part of the screen. You can choose between saving it as a new creation by entering a name in the title field of your creation or replacing an existing creation.

Revisit a saved creation

To open a saved creation, click 'open' on the top left-hand side You will then be asked to save your current creation. A saved list will then be displayed, from which you will be able to select the one you want to upload, being careful to confirm or not as applicable.

Cancel the last editing action

To cancel the last action(s), click the undo button (blue arrow pointing to the left) to cancel the last action, or on 'redo' (blue arrow pointing to the right) to restore a cancelled action. It is possible to click several times to multiply back actions.

Align elements using the grid

You can align elements in your creation by using the 'grid' tool. Click 'grid' in the band at the top of the screen and options will appear. Choose the grid's meshing in millimetres, display and magnetize the grid. Then, by moving elements on the page, they will automatically be aligned with one of the grid's lines.

Switch to fullscreen mode

To open fullscreen mode, click the 'fullscreen' button in the band at the top of the screen. This will provide you with a better view of the creation as a whole and greater precision. To exit the fullscreen mode, click 'exit fullscreen' in the same band.

Transfer of the order

The time it takes to transfer your order can vary from several minutes to more than one hour depending on the number of photos and the speed of your Internet connection.

You should ensure that your Internet connection does not drop during the transfer.
After the transfer, you will be automatically redirected to your online shopping basket you can validate your order.

Problem solving

Problems during loading

If the loading of the creation application takes a long time, there may be a problem:

Check that your Internet connection is active and is working correctly. Try to reload the page in your browser.

Problems during transfer

The time it takes to transfer your order can vary from several minutes to more than one hour depending on the number of photos and the speed of your Internet connection. If you encounter any difficulties, please check the following points:

If the following message is displayed: 'An error occurred during the transfer of the order': Check your Internet connection. Also check that any memory cards, CDs or external drives used to select your photos remain connected during the transfer of the order
If the problems persist, check that your firewall accepts file transfers. As some types of transfers are often blocked in company environments. We advise you to place your order from your home
In all cases, check that your browser is up-to-date and that you have the latest version of Java.

Installation of Java

The creation application requires a Java plug-in. If Java is not installed on your computer, the installation will start automatically.

Pay attention to the messages displayed during the installation process. You will be asked to accept the installation and running of Java.
